<p>Hey guys, I am a transfer student majoring in Computer Science. This will be my first semester and I am looking forward to joining some organizations that will, along with their social component, provide me with additional opportunities to meet people with the same interest and learn as well.</p>
<p>I am not into partying, not into going out to bars, and generally -- not into doing non-intellectual stuff. I want to devote as much time as I can to study and still be immersed into computer science when I'm socializing. I am hoping some people here will understand me and give me any advice as to what organizations I should join. Thank you.</p>
<p>P.S. I already know about ACM and will join it. Looking for additional organizations to join.</p>
