Student rejected= parent making angry phone calls to the university

<p>“Asians were treated like complete garbage 75 years ago, so where’s their compensation?”</p>

<p>Internment Camps lasted for half a decade. Slavery lasted for two hundred years, and segregation continued for a century after that. </p>

<p>Think about it this way. When my parents were born, segregation was still prevalent across the south. We’re only a generation past the crippling social and political policies that prevented much of this country from securing a good education and living their Constitutional rights. It will take more than a few decades for us to get past the scars of that era.</p>
