<p>Colleges look at minority status in terms of how many Asians, African Americans, Hispanics, Native Americans, Caucasians, etc. apply to college. If it turns out that more Latinos will be applying to college than whites in fifty years, then yes, whites would have some sort of minority status. </p>
<p>For example: as a male, I’m an underrepresented minority at many of the colleges to which I’m applying. :-)</p>
