<p>Do any of you have this position??
I have had it since junior year but I still dont know what I'm supposed to be doing.
The Superintendent just says report on the condition of the student body---but like i want to do more than that.
Can anyone offer tips?

what does the student representativ do in your district?
so far I have given suggestions to help extend the time to get to classes, helped get french IV etc.
but this year, the board is shooting down so many of my suggestions…like having graduation in a different pplace since our usual venue (our hgh school gym) is always crowded and stuffy</p>
<p>I represent my high school at district board meetings. I just give like a one-minute speech about sports and other events at my school, then sit and listen to people debate about elementary school education for two hours.</p>
