Student Season Tickets?

Hi. I'll be a freshman at U of M next year, and I really want to get season tickets so I can go to the football games. However, I've never been to a UMICH football game, and I was wondering how the student section works. I saw online that you can create/join a seating group, but I don't know anyone going to U of M, so that's not an option for me. If you are in the student section, is there a way you can still sit with your friends, even if you're not in a seating group? Any other info would be appreciated too. Thanks.

Lots of students get tickets w/out joining a group. You have to enter in the section on your ticket, but then can move around to join your friends. The student section pretty much becomes general admission seating. Definitely get tickets.

Thanks! Sounds good.

This may sound stupid, do the season tickets include away games? Also is any transportation provided for these away games? If not, I’m thinking about just selling every away game ticket :D

Let’s think about this logically. How would Michigan be profiting off selling tickets into other colleges’ stadiums? Exactly. Home games only.

I am transferring in as JR. is it easy get closer to the field or is it more like seating to your actual ticket ?

It’s based on credit hours

I believe they offer students the opportunity to buy tickets to away games subject to availability. Each school gives the visiting school an allotment of tickets. There is limited availability and no transportation provided. They are not included in the student season package and i think they are sold at the same price as the general public pays.
