I'm trying to buy football tickets for the upcoming season, and I can't figure out where exactly the student section is located. I know it's located in the East stands. Does it include the entire East stands or just certain sections?

If you are a current student, please let me know what section(s) students sit in.

Also, could someone explain how the ticket lottery works on GatorZone.com? Is this the best way for students to get tickets? And assuming I enter my name into the lottery on the day it opens, will I get a ticket?

The student section essentially comprises the entire east stands. There are some exceptions though. For example, some of the sections in the east stands are for the away team. That being said, you don’t pick a seat or section for the entire season.

In terms of the lottery, when you register is irrelevant. You can do it on the first day that registration opens or the last day, the only consideration is your number of UF credit hours. Coming off a national championship and being a freshmen, you probably have around a 50% chance of getting tickets. Good luck.

Unfortunately not. Only credits that you actually received from UF count, but that doesn’t mean freshmen have no chance (I’ve had them every year). They break up people in the lottery into the following groups:

Sure you can, its up to you. However, season student tickets cost $70( or $80)? but the tickets on the website mention cost from $140-900 each. Even if you dont win the lottery there are always students selling tickets from $20-150, depending on the game.

What is the bump for? wasn’t your question answered.
The student section is basically the whole east side of the stadium, you have a better chance of getting season tickets if you have more credit hours, yes you can buy individual tickets on your own.
