Hi - I've seen this done on other forums, so why not the Penn State ones?

If you have gotten a reply OF ANY KIND from Penn State, please help other students be more informed about the kind of person Penn State wants. Here's the format:

And what formula might that be? Do you guys have any ideas? And are GPA/SAT the EXTREMELY MOST IMPORTANT factors?

gpa is most important factor for 2/3... test scores + ecs and everything else are 1/3

Does PSU recalculate GPA? Or do they just look at the number written on your transcript regardless if the number is weighted or unweighted? And what is a good GPA considering SAT scores of 750+ M, 550+ CR, 600+ W, 740+ 2C, and 700+ Physics, extremely crappy EC's, no awards, excellent recs, and an okay essay?

Also, if you apply early by 11/30, do you have a better chance of getting accepted?
