students already accepeted into 6/7 yr programs

<p>Hi guys!
For students who are already in the accelerated program, give some feedback on your stats (grades, extra curriculars, anything that you think helped you get accepted into the program) Also, I know someone who got into the program but she was an avg student, so in other words do you have to be the outstanding most elite student at your school to get in?

<p>i know someone who got into brown plme ed. She had a 2390 sat and a 4.0 gpa. I believe that she had less than average ecs so I guess it was pure brainpower and essays that got her in.</p>

<p>wow 2390? impressive. =) wel a girl i know who got in had a 3.5 and not too many ec's...the onlt thing that was outstanding was her volunteering hours.. i guess its all about luck :/</p>

<p>Its cool that you are asking people about their stats because you are so motivated to gain admission. Hell, im in the same boat as you are...dieing to figure out if I have a chance at all. The only thing is that you can not change your stats, so figuring out others stats will only make you more depressed. Instead, just chilll...enjoy the last few moments in high school...apply to some backup schools, and hope, pray, fight for the best. But dont dwell on the past....you did ur best, and if they want you, theyll take you </p>
