Because there's more public schools than private schools in the nation?

Which brings me back to my question: why is the distribution 50-50? Quotas?

Which brings me back to my question: why is the distribution 50-50? Quotas?

Even though it's a 50 -50 distribution, the percentage of private school acceptees is more than public school acceptees when compared to the two pools of applicants.

I'm talking about MY class, MY high school . 0.2727% is in in my high school

haha thats how my school is too encomium =D we have a decent side graduating class of usually 450-500 students each year and about 10-18 go to ivies each year. the percentage hardly even registers =D

out in states where ivies accept very few people, most of these accepted folks usually come from the same schooll, especially in arizona. arizona has 1 or 2 real feeder schools to ivies in which they have a great number (for arizona) of ivies each year. although diversity is good, some schools have a reputation and that helps a lot =D.

last year only 7 people from arizona were accepted to princeton 3 of which were from my school. so to answer your question no they dont really care all that much if u go to the same school =D as long as u are both strong applicants

i dont think its a 50-50, im pretty sure last year or maybe it was the year before that princeton's incoming class only 31% or so were from private schools
