Hi everyone!

I'm currently a high school senior living in WA, and hoping to follow the Pre-Med track if admitted to UW which is high on my list. However, I do have a few apprehensions about attending such a large public school for undergrad and I'm hoping to hear about your experiences. Do you believe that UW was beneficial in helping you get to where you need to be (med school, etc..)?

I know that there are great opportunities available at nearby hospitals like UWMC and Harborview but what did you think about your classes? The accessibility of your professors? The helpfullness of advisors? Were you able to gain admission into your top med schools? I'm worried that at a large public school like UW, the needs of students will often be overlooked by the school and faculty simply because there are so many of us.

Thank you! I appreciate any answers!
