<p>My personal opinion is trying to define someones nature/personality by appearance is about as accurate as determining a persons intelligence by the type of cookies they buy.</p>

<p>everyone knows chocolate chip cookies are what intelligent people eat. furthermore, people who eat 'smarties,' mostly not smart. surprising, i know.</p>

<p>I definitely consider myself a geek, and I enjoy (some) parties and sports as well. No worries. :)</p>

<p>There are tons of parties at MIT. I went to like 5 this past weekend. We host parties for other schools in the greater Boston area just because our parties rock. (grrr...those BU, NU, and Wellesley kids crowded way too many frat parties that my friends and I were locked out). So yeah, MIT is nerdy and fun.</p>

<p>Actually, it's because we're one of the only schools in the Greater Boston area that hasn't cracked down on parties. We're right across the river from BU, which is effectively a police state.</p>

<p>We do have some pretty awesome parties though. Steer Roast, anyone?</p>
