Hi,
So can anyone tell me what it is like going to CU in terms of the number of students. Does having around 25,000 feel overcrowded?

My kids (CU junior and freshman) have never complained about the school being overcrowded. The only time the size is evident is when freshman move in, and they usually have to put some kids up in hotels for a while until things sort out (some kids never show up, some go home within the first week or so) because all freshman are required to live on campus unless they commute from home. The other time you notice size is as an underclassmen and you're trying to sign up for classes - upperclassmen have priority in enrolling, so you may have to wait an extra semester to take a certain class. But what I speak of is pretty common at any large university.

Hasn't bothered my D at all. In fact, she finds the size stimulating and energizing. Some intro courses are quite large, but once past those (or AP out, as my D did for a bunch) class sizes are not a problem. There are lots of support services (e.g.pre-professional advising) and tons of student organizations. However, it is, to a considerable extent, up to you to take advantage of these resources.
