Has anyone studied abroad for quarter, semester, or year? How was it? Do you recommend it?
That is such a vague question. School in different countries have different system
I did my undergraduate project and both my masters’ thesis projects abroad, so amounting to a quarter semester each time. I did my undergraduate project in the south of France, my first master’s project in Tokyo, and my recent master’s project in lisbon. These stays were the best time of my life. I learnt so much, met new people, saw new places. I cannot recommend travelling and going abroad enough, you will grow as a person and is broadens your horizon. Just do it!
