Study abroad Australia - which Uni's?

Son is considering study abroad; options so far are U.Sydney and Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne. Comments? Advise? How to know which school to attend in Australia? Thanks all.

I think where you study in Australia is somewhat determined by your major. I know a girl who went to U of WA last year, as she’s an engineer. Personally, I wouldn’t pick Perth, since it’s near very little - Sydney or Melbourne are the better cities. Brisbane & Cairnes are for surfers. Be aware that since the seasons are different, the class schedule is too - she left in mid-July for their spring semester, but came home in early/mid December like typical American students.
