I'm a junior at a top 25 liberal arts college, hoping to apply to t14 law schools. I haven't taken the LSAT yet, but plan to do so in June.

My question is about GPA. If I went abroad for a semester, and my grades are significantly HIGHER than my grades at my home institution, will it affect how the law schools view my grades? I had a 3.5 before coming on the program, but it looks like my grades from the program will be all As, bringing my GPA to about a 3.63 overall. Should I consider this any differently from having a 3.6 just from my home institution?

Was your study abroad program sponsored by your school, where the your school will add them to your transcript?

If your school does not transcript your grades, you will have to submit a separate transcript for these grades to LSDS and they will be evaluated accoring to that country's grading structure

its a program approved through my school, but run by Earlham College, which will appear on my transcript and be counted in my school's cummulative gpa. Also, since its a border studies program, all except for one class are on a US grading scale.

I think you just answered your own question ;)
