Hi! So I’ve been deciding for months where to study abroad and I absolutely cannot come to a decision. I’m choosing between studying at Dublin Business School which is $6,000 cheaper, I could get an internship, and I know another girl going, and DIS copenhagen program which is much more expensive, but the program is great and the classes for my major are really great and (I think?) the culture is more different from the US than Ireland. I don’t know anyone on this program which could be good or bad. I’m very torn because I think both of these experiences could be good but in very different ways. I have 2 days to make a final decision and any help/recommendations would be very much appreciated!
You already asked this question before, right? I would imagine the answers won’t be too different. Flip a coin. If you regret the results of the flip, that might tell you something about the decision you should make.
Either way, I don’t think you can make a bad choice and regardless of the choice you can always visit the other country in your time there.
Speaking of travel, it’s very easy to travel within Europe. Sounds like Ireland is a much cheaper program. Additionally, your expenses for food, entertainment, etc. will be quite a bit cheaper than Copenhagen which might be used for travel money. Just food for thought.
My daughter is currently in Dublin -UCD- for the semester.
She is very happy with the program.
So far she has been to London, Vienna and Budapest, for 3 or 4 day week-ends ( yes, she scheduled that).
Next week-end she will be in N Ireland for a scheduled (free) trip.
She is very happy with her choice and says the Irish people are the friendliest.
