I'm really interested in taking some a quarter/semester to study abroad in Hong Kong or Singapore before I graduate, and I love the idea of getting immersed in the Asian culture while still being able to use English. I will be a sophomore at Dartmouth in the fall, and unfortunately, I cannot find a program run by or associated with our school that fits me perfectly. I am wondering if any of you have had experiences finding and going on study abroad terms in one of the two countries independent of your college. Please let me know any programs that you would recommend and how you would recommend I go about looking/applying for these programs.

Well, I’m not entirely sure about this program, but I found it while looking for a program that exchanges to Japan. It’s called Asia Learn. They have universities in Hong Kong and Singapore that you could go to. Maybe you should check out USAC. They have an exchange to China, but not Singapore. My school is one of their partner universities, but you can also apply independently. Maybe try CIEE or IES? Studyabroad.com is pretty much a study abroad search engine. It can help you find other programs. Hope all this helps !Good luck!

I am also searching a good link that give me a great stuff for how to study in abroad and some program run by colleges. I heard Asian culture is really better as compare to others, i want to study in australia.
