<p>For anyone going on study abroad and/or international student exchange programs, have you received your spring (January or February 2011i) notification yet or more likely to hear in November? Thanks.</p>
<p>I have a friend whose D was notified a few weeks ago that she was accepted to a spring study abroad that starts in Feb. Her roommate was rejected from the same program; they were both notified at the same time.</p>
<p>Please anonymously post if you are waiting to hear or have heard about going overseas to study this spring. I wonder when you typically hear about a program starting in January or February.

<p>Our student was notified Sept 28th of acceptance into a semester which begins late January. Your student might want to inquire about the status of his/her application, particularly if a student visa is required. Also, we’ve noticed that airfares to Europe have been rising during the past couple of weeks.</p>
<p>According to my son’s university, he will be notified after they hear from the host college.
No word yet and I wonder by which date should my son hear about his application. The college web site does not state when students are notified of acceptance to international programs.</p>
<p>Do you know the date when his program starts?</p>
<p>Spring program starts in February, but I don’t know if it actually starts earlier for orientation.</p>
