Study Abroad-oxford or language intensive

I’m going to be a senior next year at cu boulder and I can’t decide if it would be better to try to study abroad for a semester at Oxford (visiting student program at St. Catherine’s) or do a language intensive for a few weeks over the summer in Spain. I entered college with quite a few dual enrollment and AP credits so I’ve pretty much finished my first major (history) and I’m set to complete my undergraduate honors thesis in March. I’m doubling majoring in Russian area studies and I have a Spanish minor that’s pretty much done (I’ve taken close to 8 years of Spanish), but I wouldn’t call myself fluent. For oxford, I would want to study history and modern languages, but I don’t know if it would be better to just cement my Spanish over a summer, or spend a semester at oxford.

Have you already made your decision? If not, what do you see as pros/cons?
