Considering visiting SU but heard from a friend that study abroad is required at SU. Is this true?
There are many different ways to fulfill this requirement at Susquehanna, including short term travel that is part of a regular semester course (for example, over spring break). This can even be done within the US… the concept is to study a culture different from your own, so those trips include places such as New Orleans and Hawaii, among others.
Yes, that is true. My daughter, a junior at SU, spent her fall semester at an art school in Florence, Italy. It was one of the best experiences of her life. We didn’t have to pay any more than we do for a typical semester, so don’t let cost scare you off. @cakeisgreat
