I had this on a more specialized forum and got no responses, so I'll now post it here.

I have decided that I want to receive professional actor training in the UK. The university honors program I will start in the fall has five full-year exchange programs at British Universities that I will be able to attend sophomore year. I will be on a full ride scholarship plus a stipend that will cover any of these programs and my thought is that the most practical thing for me to do will be to wait until Im over there for a full year to audition because of the money saved from not having to make multiple flights "across the pond" as well as the ability to audition for a lot more schools. Do any of you know anything about the student visa implications of this? Would I be able to extend my visa for three more years if I transferred to one of their drama academies from the exchange program? If you dont know, do you know about any places I can look to find this out for myself?
