So for next summer (2009) I want to study abroad. I have wanted to study abroad since I was in High School, and I figured that next summer would be the best time to do it, as it will be the summer between my junior and senior year, I wont be missing out on the social scene here, like if I was to study abroad during the academic year.
However, I go to school not far from a big city, where there are abundant internship/job opportunities, espically for my major (journalism). I didn't take advantage of these oppurtunites last summer since I transfered here this year, and this summer I will be doing an intership in my hometown, about 7 hours away. One of the reasons I came to school here was because of all these internship oppurtunities, and I feel like if I graduated without taking advantage of them, I would be missing out. So while it is still early in the process, I just want others opinions of if I should study abroad, or try for an internship here

you could intern and then study abroad during one of the semesters. or the summer after senior year, you will only graduate a semester later, unless the big ceremony is important to you

Study abroad at least once in your life. You won't regret it.

I plan on studying abroad all 4 years of college.

im not sure if a school has a program like that

unless dank is already an international student

It's quite easy. Just enroll at a university abroad.
