I really want to study abroad my last semester. I am currently a transfer student at FIU from Kansas State. My Major is Hospitality Management. Being that I am a transfer I pay out of state tuition (may have instate residency in 2 weeks). FIU only has a program in China for my major. I really do NOT want to do china and the program is over priced. I want to study abroad in Madrid or Barcalona. I have my heart on Spain. So I went to the Study Abroad office at FIU and it was not too helpful at all. No one on one personalized appointments like I'd get at KSU (who had great programs btw, they even sit you down and narrow down programs that fit you). The lady made me come out of that office hopeless. I want to studay abroad for the cultural experience and to learn spanish. I don't care so much about transferring credits and all of that stuff. Anyone know of any good programs or have advice?
