study business in singapore

I will be a junior in the fall and I have the chance to study business at NUS Singapore in the fall for free. My dillemma is if I go I will miss fall recruiting for jobs/internships at my school. I could try to get an internship in the spring but it will be harder. Would be more beneficial to go to Singapore or stay in the states

The opportunity to study business at NUS Singapore for free does not come by often. You can use the internet to apply for jobs/internships back at the US while you are there. There are still opportunities in the Spring when you come back as well. I will definitely go to Singapore.

It’s an excellent offer! But that depends on your other available options?

I had a long talk with one of my profs and they said that I would be a fool not to go. with that said 1234 whats it like living in Singapore

the culture is SO much different from the US - you are in ASIA. So the people and how they speak/behave is different from Americans that you interact with everyday; it can be very interesting, depending on how you look at it. But then again, Singapore’s probably the most westernised place in Asia, so your culture shock will probably be minimised there.

Any questions - pm me. I am a parent of 2 high school boys. Its very laid back, easy, crime free!
