The best way to study is to study less than an hour per night, every night. Your mind can absorb the information better, and you will retain it on test day. You also won't have to worry about sitting down for multiple hours studying and getting bored. Also, going to a library to study is a good idea because it takes away distractions of home.

neelesh i have the exact same problem...i thought it was only me that couldnt focus straight for more than 15 min tops... i always daydream and it hurts me on the long run - me thinks-

Take a shower before you study and eat moderately cause if you don't eat you'll be hungry and then you'll be distracted and hit the fridge but if your too full, you'll be sleepy and obviously you won't want to study. If you get distracted by TV or vid games (like I do), then watch or play them as much as u want until your bored. Then when your guilty that you didn't study, go study.

get a girlfriend, realize that girls arent that great, and you wont be distracted by thinking about them the whole time (Ive been working on this for some time now- easier said than done).

At home, I can't concentrate, and usually can't get myself to sit down and study.

Recently, when I've decided that I actually need to study, I do so in the library of a local LAC. I am able to get work done, because i see lots of other kids doing work around me.

icyfire. that won't work. cuz the desire to play/havefun comes back every few hours at the least.

i have a problem where i need to turn on my computer every couple hours or so. i definitely have a problem with studying for long periods AT HOME. but when i'm at school, i study like mofo.
