My daughter’s senior schedule is a bit quirky next year - she will end up with two study halls every day, which she is thrilled about. That will help with AP Calc and DE Physics. She asked her guidance counselor and he said that would be a non-issue, given that she is taking classes a lot of kids don’t even reach thanks to loading up in previous years.
The Year from Hell was sophomore year, when she had no study halls and not even a lunch period - she had to eat in Spanish. It was awful. It was not worth it. Study halls are good … take them.
