study halls...

I sort of have a study hall problem. Half of the week, on days where I don't have AP Bio lab period and gym, I have three study halls? I'm looking to get into Cornell, Tufts, Northwestern, and Princeton (my mega-reach). Will the three study halls every other day hurt me? there's really not that much I can do, since classes aren't offered every other day or anything, and I already don't have lunch second semester because I'm taking journalism instead. I'm taking three APs (Calc AB, english lit, and Bio) and an honors public affairs class through Syracuse University, so it's not like my schedule is exceedingly light, but if I were to fill my study halls with easy classes, my class rank would drop. The school does class rank through our eighted GPAs, and it's not adjusted based on our number of classes. therefore, the maximum I could get in an elective would be 100, as opposed to 112 in an AP class, making your class rank higher if you take a study hall than if you take an elective. Also, I've taken every AP offered in the school (there are only four) so i can't take a difficult class either. Basically, my question is... Will the study halls be frowned upon?

You kidding me? I have 5 study halls almost everyday. I can actually leave early because my 5th, 6th, and 7th are all consecutive study halls. That means I get to go home at 12:30 everyday. Ha ha ha.
