Just curious...what do you guys listen to while studying. I'm looking for something to help me concentrate and relax at the same time.

I'm curious too. I don't listen to music when I study.

Classical music would be the obvious choice for most people, but I usually listen to industrial/metal music while studying. Rammstein is good because their songs are loud and fast enough to keep you awake. Most of it is in German, too, which isn't quite as distracting as an English song. I also listen to Apocalyptica while studying. They're a cello metal group: lots of instrumental tracks.

i did a study for ap stat on this, and we made ppl listen to classical, metal, and silence, and ppl did hte best on silence. however, we screwed up our testing, so who knows. people really didn't like listening to "nookie" by slipknot while studying was a pretty universal reaction though

i listen to low key music or the radio really quietly, so i can't even make out the words, otherwise i get distracted

i listen to classical music because its really calm.. i know some people that listen to rock. but its like boom boxin thingymabober.. and i think it would mess up your rhetorical rhythmic pattern in your brain.. and definetely not rap.. listen to that when youre not studying
