Hi, i’m currently a Junior studying for the ACT and I have some questions concerning a study plan. Recently I finished the ACT Prep Black Book and took a practice Math section. However, my score came out at as a 28 and comparatively to my other sections it’s my weakest score. I have another Math prep book I can use(Ultimate Guide to Math Act), but I should try focusing on the test as a whole or should I try to address my math and take a section a day?
If math is your strongest area of the ACT, then you should devote more time in practicing for the math section and attempt to further raise your score. In that way not only you will be confident about that area when you practice, it is also easier to raise your score when you get into the 30s if you can make less mistakes. However, if the scores for all of your sections come out to be pretty much the same, then just focus on whatever you like at first.
