Study Tips/Time Management

Hi!

I am a current student at Vanderbilt University, and I am looking for advice on where to study on campus. I often struggle to find the best places to get my work done and be efficient on campus, so I was wondering where other students typically like to study?

Additionally, outside of university-owned property, where else do you study on your campus?

Thanks

Central lib 8th floor by the windows is good.

some people also like the desks in the stacks on the upper floors, or in the divinity library (central basement)

biomed first floor just got a redesign and it has tables, desks, and private rooms, so it could be a good move.

Alumni hall is pretty nice; some big tables on the second floor and some smaller tables in that room off to the side on the first floor, and I’ve had good study time there.

The wondry is also nice for studying. Bronson looks cool too - not sure if anyone can go into their main library though.

It’s really just trying things out. Some people like some silence, some people like more noise (if so, a lot of people study in rand), some people like more closed-in desks, some people like open tables. Some like group study, some don’t.
