I am looking for advice on where to study on campus. I often struggle to find the best places to get my work done and be efficient on campus, so I was wondering where other students typically like to study?
Additionally, outside of university-owned property, where else do you study on your campus?
It depends on your style. Do you like to have silence or background noise when you study? Different methods work for different type classes. I always liked library study carrels (are those still a thing?) for in-depth reading and exam study. For review and normal homework, I worked best in the cafeteria or somewhere where there was a lot of background noise, but woe betide anybody who expected any social engagement whatsoever while I was in school mode. I didn’t live in a dorm, but I don’t think that’s the best place for study. Try a bunch of different places to see what works best for you. Good luck!
It is really personal…some people like to be away from distractions and go to the library.
Others like to study in their room.
Some go to public spaces in the dorms and study with others.
