If you’re asking for college studying tips… why not actually post in college life…?

But here are some of mine tips I was told by students from my school (incoming freshman):
-Use the internet. Not just Sparknotes. I’m talking Youtube, Google, etc. Any site can help your education if you make it so.
-Form a study group/partners (preferably with people who share most of your classes).
-The dorms will be loud especially during “quiet hours”. It is preferred that you go to the lobbies, library,or even outside to study for midterms/finals.

That’s all I got. Oh you want to set aside 1-2 hours of studying EACH day.

Recently graduated senior taking college classes this summer before heading out to an out of state university this fall.

The best thing you can do is ask the teacher. Probe them about how they structure tests and what content you will be required to know. Some teachers expect you to be accountable for the small content in lectures and expect you to have read and understood big concepts in the textbook required on your own time. Others will not expect you to read the textbook at all and will go over all the content you need in the lecture.
