studying abroad/grad school question

Hi,
So this is a basic application question. I have noticed when looking at websites that grad programs require an official transcript from each university attended. i am currently studying abroad, but I still count as a student at my home university. However, my grades from Spain don't count in my GPA and I don't think will show up on my home university transcript, just the hours. So will I need to get transcripts from the Spanish university in addition to those from my home university? That would probably be really annoying and expensive, but I just want to know if it's necessary and I don't know who I should contact to find out (the programs?, my Spanish university? my home university?). Thanks in advance for answers

Pretty much yes. They’ll want to know why you didn’t take any classes at your home uni during this semester.

I had to spend $15/transcript as well from my study abroad program. Annoying but the fact that my US transcripts were free made paying for the foreign ones less painful.

Thanks so much. i also emailed one of the programs I’m looking into and they said the same thing. Too bad I have to pay for my US transcripts as well.

I would ask each school- 2 of my schools said yes to the Study Abroad transcript, one said no.
