<p>My daughter is heading to Barcelona in 2 weeks for the semester. Looking for suggestions on packing - thinking of 2 Checked Bags + Carryon Rolling duffle - any feedback welcomed, Including specific brands, etc.</p>
<p>Daughter just returned from a semester in Europe. She had two checked bags that she could easily drag on wheels and a backpack that could double for trips outside the country (she actually spent five days in Barcelona with a group of students from her Amsterdam program)… Bought her a Deuter Trail 28 back pack. She also packed her regular school backpack for treks to classes, but the Deuter was great for those long weekend trips outside the home base. She only took four, just FOUR, pairs of shoes/boots, and that was hard for her to do. She also went from summer to winter… and she ‘shed’ some of the original items she took (mattress enclosure bec. of her allergies, towels, OTC stuff) so that if she picked anything new up along the way (a few souvenirs, a warmer winter type jacket)… it would all fit coming home.</p>
