I will be an exchange student in Germany for a month this summer, living with a family, entirely immersed in the culture/language, etc. I am currently a high school junior. Does anyone know anything about how colleges feel when they see this type of experience on an application? I know it obviously doesn't hurt it, but does it make you a stronger candidate?

By the way, I am planning on studying International Relations/Studies and German.. if that makes a difference.
