I plan to try to study abroad in my junior year, though I'm wondering if it's really competitive or not many take advantage of the program?

Tons of Michigan students study abroad and there are lots of options. I don't think it's terribly competitive to be accepted to most programs. Basically, they want to know that you're doing OK and will continue to do OK if you go abroad. Check out the website.

Well I'm primarily considering the Great Britain one with Cambridge and Oxford. I'd imagine that's the most popular one.

Meet with an advisor EARLY so you can plan out your classes well. You don't want to have to be here too long (>8-9 semesters)

KB

It really depends on what you want to major in and what language you would like to study. Obviously if you decide to go to an english speaking country than it will be much easier in terms of classes for a wider array of majors. if you want to major in a science or economics it will probably be much harder i will not lie. I am a REES major <russian and="" east="" european="" studies.=""> so i will be able to get most of my major credits in russia. talk to an advisor though</russian>
