<p>I heard that 1 out of 5 UIUC students will be studying abroad. Well, my question is, do you chose to study abroad or it all depends on the program you're in?</p>

<p>Each college, and in your case the School of Architecture, has its own study abroad programs and generally you have a choice of various places. I am not very familiar with those in architecture except I am aware one of the main ones (or at least more known ones) available (and for which there is likely competition) is spending junior year in Versailles, France and I believe the UIUC School of Architecture itself has its own school program there.</p>
