I am taking AP Physics 1 next year, and will be a sophomore in pre-calculus. I want to know whether Khan Academy's physics section is enough and if I should buy a book. Also, is taking this as a sophomore while taking pre calc a good idea?

Hey I’m taking AP Physics 1 next year as well. I would go with the prep book since the stuff you’ll learn from it is what will be on the AP exam. Sorry if my advice is mediocre, let’s keep in touch and see how we both do in the class!

Bozeman Science (guy on youtube, does the other AP sciences) has a new AP Physics series. I’m not sure if he completely finished uploading the AP Physics 1 vids (I think he did) but he said he would be uploading 1&2 all throughout the summer. He has some pretty good videos!

Alright, I’ll look at both of those options, thanks!

Buy a book

I’m using MasteringPhysics!
