Studying for 9 AP Tests

For those of you who take an exorbitant amount of AP Tests, how did you study for all of them? I'm going to be taking 9 tests next year, with 5 at school and 4 self studied. Did you focus on one subject at a time, or did you do a little of each every day? Tips would be appreciated!

I only took 3 last year but I’m planning on taking 11 this year.
Whenever I try studying a little bit of each every day, I can’t do it. I get facts confused and I can’t organize my thoughts (I did this for APs and then for languages. I tried studying Spanish, English, Chinese, and Japanese at the same time while also speaking Korean at home, and then I started speaking Spanengchapanese without even realizing it. It was ridiculous) so yeah. It depends on the person, but I personally find it more helpful to focus on one subject at a time. What I did for the 2012 AP exams was spend 15 hours straight for two days focusing solely on bio, another weekend for psych, and then another period of just focusing on APWH. It helped me retain the information much better. This year, I’m doing the same. I’ll study 1-2 topics every day. It seems to be working so far.

However I do know some people who choose to read a little bit on each topic every day and end up getting easy 5’s on all of their exams as well.

Thanks, gomdorri! I took 3 APs last year as well, but I did a bit of practice on each subject everyday. I can’t say I like that method, because like you said, I just got everything mixed up. (it was also my first year taking AP tests so I had no idea how to do anything). The concern I have about focusing on one subject at a time is, wouldn’t you forget everything about the first subject you studied by the time you got to the end? Especially with such a large amount of APs.

What i did/do like for example
you have Ap eng, ap bio, Ap history

Ill do bio first
Take short 20 min break (during break sorta recap what u just studyed)
Do Ap eng
20 min break ( recap)
Do Ap history
Than i guess repeat Lol

And you’ll calling us “who take an exorbitant amount of AP Tests”. ;)

Uh, I rarely see anyone take 6+ AP in year.

But kudos for you!

I took 7 which isn’t exorbitant for CC. I paid attention in class and did my homework. Was pretty easy. Trolling is fun.
