I have a midterm in orgo next week and I'm having major problems, mostly because of all the reactions. I understand them, but its the fact that there are so many that I mix up some of them. Do you guys have any suggestions? I was thinking about making index cards, but it was the one thing my advisor recommended NOT to do. Did you guys find any cool websites or have helpful tricks to remember them while taking orgo?

I would go with flash cards for now. In undergrad, flashcards can still get the job done, esp with orgo which is all memorization. Most questions are based on you locating a key feature of that reaction and applying it to other molecules they may use as examples on the test. For the Sn1, Sn2, E1, E2 rxns, you can find a lot of helpful charts online, that can show you the basic difference between the four. Doing practice questions are also very helpful, see if you teacher has past exams available.

If you understand the principles well enough, orgo is not memorization at all.

Just do practice.

You still have to memorize the principles
I personally made a flash card for every reagent set. If there were a couple tricky outcomes I just made several for that.
