Studying for SAT IIs in General

So...I sort of procrastinated on my Chem SAT II back in June, so I had to take it again this October. My score was fine the second time through (770), but I was wondering how early I should start prepping for SAT IIs. It probably depends on the subject, too...I'm planning to take US in May and Math IIC in June. Any thoughts?

If you're taking US History AP or something, you probably won't be needing too much prep outside of AP prep, since you're taking the SAT in May... I would say that in general, if you're strong in that subject, 1~2 months of prep is more than enough, and if you're not so strong, I'd look at 3~6 months, depending on how weak you are (of course, if you're so weak in a subject that it takes you half a year to prep, you probably shouldn't be taking the test to begin with =P).

As for the Math IIc, it really depends on how strong you are in math. I'm fairly strong in math, so I got a good score with no prep, but that can really vary - a friend of mine who's also fairly strong in math got like, 670 or something. Just take a practice test and decide how much prep you really need.
