So I will be taking SAT ii's in december. possibly november if i end my SAT's in Oct. I will be taking: French, USH, and Math 2. And Korean and possibly retake Lit in november if i finish SAT's in october. I know studying for USH will take longer than other subjects so i have already started for that, but how long should i give myself for studying Math 2? should i start studying now for it as well or later in the summer? THANKS :D

I’m taking my Math IIC, among other tests, in October or November and most of the people who are taking it around here are close to finishing the prep books (mainly Barron’s btw). I literally just finished the book today.

I guess it depends how good at math you are but I would start now. School starts in like a month (for me anyway…) and it’ll be difficult to find study time for subject tests, no matter how determined you are :(

Good luck on Korean you and me both!

Why the hell do you have so many? Frankly unless you have a 2350+ on the SAT reasoning, more than 2 is a waste.

@meteman: What’s your reasoning behind that? Just because someone doesn’t have an 2350 doesn’t mean s/he shouldn’t try to take subject tests. lol

That’s not what I said, I said that more than 2 subject tests are a waste to focus on unless you have a 2350 on the reasoning.

Yeah but why is it a waste? Don’t some colleges want 3 subject tests?

Because you would get more of a benefit from a 2350 than 700s+ on more subject tests, georgetown is the only college that wants 3.

Ah, I see. Still, I don’t think taking 3, 4, 5, or even taking 6 subject tests would be a total waste… 2350 is a very very hard score to get /:

Which is why the effort would be better spent trying to get closer to that score.
