Studying for the SAT

What is the best way to study for the SATs? I'm currently a sophmore and I'm planning to take my first SAT in my junior year. Any suggestions? pretty please (:

Im in the same situation, what im doing at the moment, is I have the Barron's SAT prep book, as well as the blue book, which I do problems from. Over the summer, I think im taking a local SAT prep class offered by PR, as well as next year im taking a SAT prep class at school.

i would say, do as many practice tests u can find and learn from them...what mistakes u made and why u made them....that's about it...u can also memorize vocab....but i never really enjoyed that lol...good luck

Start with self prep and see how you do. Get the official College Board tests + Cracking the SAT (Princeton Review's book). I really liked PR's explanation of the test and the tips; they come in handy when you're pressed for time.

Be sure you know your grammar rules and math formulas, and just practice, practice, practice.

i see all these threads, and you're all cc'ers
is it really that hard?
i guess the fact that i didnt study and thought it was easy shows how flawed the SAT really is
or something

I didn't study for sats and got like 1630 the first time.

I hate the Barron's math review so *ing much. I literally get angry enough to rip the *ing book apart every time I try to study math with it. I don't know how I'm still sane. I want to light it on god damn fire.

You'll be able to when you go to college.
