I'm really hoping I get a 2000 or higher on my SAT's. I didn't do well on my PSAT's (1700) and as a Sophomore I was wondering if I study throughout the summer if I could boost my score 200 to 300 points and then study throughout my Junior year and hopefully boost it a little bit more by my Senior year. However, I heard you can only bring your score up about 300 points higher after you study?
I could really use the advice and tips on how to do better.
I've been reading books such as Jane Eyre, The Count of Monte Cristo, Catcher in the Rye, The Three Musketeers, etc. Also, I've been studying vocabulary words during my spare time.
Thanks so much.

Don’t necessarily believe the 300 point limit, that’s bs (I improved 400 points with prep). I have no doubt that getting over a 2000 is a possibility for you. Vocab words are def. good to study. I honestly don’t find reading books helpful, but it’s good if it works for you. The best thing is to do practice tests (from the college board blue book). That’s what I did, reading section after reading section, until I did well on test day.
