Studying over the summer....

Is there an advantage to studying AP's over the summer? Mainly being that the class taken in the Fall/Spring will become easier and less stressful? Has anyone tried this? How does this compare to AP's classes where you didn't read over a study book over the summer?

I’m in the same straits. I want to study for my AP Bio and APUSH classes over the summer. I hope that it will help. However, I have tried studying over the summer for a class before and it may be counter-productive because by the time summer ends you usually can’t remember anything you studied. However, if one starts studying in Late July the yields may be more significant. Hope this helps. And- also, can you got to my HELP for college listmaking thread and post there? I would really appreciate it.

If you pay attention in your courses and read review book after some point in the course, you should be OK.

For summer, I really recommend you to just do an individual project than sit down and study for AP. Really, it’s not number of AP subjects that’ll get you to a good institution… It’s about a way to show yourself out…
