so since im going into my junior year, i'm a little worried about how big of a procrastinator i am. I'm only taking one AP (US) and one honors course (french) at my prep/boarding school but i barely had nothing lower than a B- this year in all regular classes. I don't really have a good way of organizing notes and basically have no clue how to study --- how does every organize ntoes for classes...binders, notebooks, etc. and what is the most succesful way of studying for quizes and tests? Its hard for me to just sit and read over my notes and retain the information fully. any tips?

I'm horrible at organizing so I just set up an inbox system.

I would randomly jot down notes on loose sheets of paper, stick them into my in box, and then file the sheets that I need and throw away useless junk.

Note: do not skip a single day.

Well, I'm just heading into my Sophomore year (and I won't be taking ANY APs till Junior year because of my crazy school) but with the procrastinating I always do one thing:

Don't let yourself eat till you get all your schoolwork done (IE - HW, filing away notes, and getting bag ready for tomorrow)

That way, you'll reallyyy wanna get your work done ;)

^Not everyone can go without eating often. I get really bad headaches.

Yeah, I guess that's true.
And some people might have hours and hours of schoolwork.

Oh well, it still works for me, personally. But, I hope you can find something that helps you, prepchick91 =)

what my teacher made us do this year was take notes on a legal pad during class, but it didnt have to be neat or anything and then at night we would recopy them into a formal notebook so it was like studying the material every night. i think im going to do that for chem and AP us, and then recopy the notes either at the end of each chapter so its studying for the test and not taking away from other homework time.
