Studying Time devoted to SAT II

I know that the answers to this question can vary greatly but here it goes:

How much do you guys usu. devote to preparing for subject tests?? (No prep, Two weeks, One month??) I was just curious b/c i have only a month to prepare for two subject tests:)

It really depends.
For Math II and Biology, I think 2 weeks is sufficient.

Math 2 - two weeks
Chem - a week
Lit - as long as you can :P

i think it just depends on the person/your strengths/what you've learned in school

^ Word.

Also, how does one prep for Lit? o__O Just practicing? Does that significantly improve one's ability to read and understand?

Total hours for each:

Math II: 5
Physics: 7
USH: 4

I think approximately 90% of that time is practice tests, which I spread out over the three weeks preceding the exam. Basically start prepping at a point where you will have enough time to learn everything, but not too far out so that you will begin losing sight of the goal or forgetting relevant information.

hmm, for math II, you might want like some time to review basic alg2/trig formulas if you arent really good with them..

for physics, its mostly logic, so as long as ur down with ur basic kinematic, gravitation, and electric and other formulas youre basically fine.

chem is frickin annoying with ap chem lol. i wouldnt know, but im studying massively for this, dunno about the avg person.

ush shouldnt require much studying. it mainly focuses on historical trends, which, if you sit through a APUSH class for a year really isnt that hard. but you may want time to just do a refresher of the colonial times cuz they like asking about that.
