<p>There ARE excuses for low SAT scores… If i don’t study for the SAT I would get something like 1200… </p>

<p>Descuff, I took the PSAT my soph year and legitimately half-assed it, because I knew it would never make a difference in college admissions. Earlier this year I took some practice SATs, like 2 or 3 without studying, and I was getting like 2050-2100ish type scores. I stuck with the ACT cause I did slightly better (yea, 33).</p>

<p>Yawn…I cured cancer and AIDS, ended hunger in the world, created world peace, and invented an affordable 100% clean-energy car. However, I don’t think my ECs are good enough, and I only took 16 AP courses and 20 IBs in school because I couldn’t fit any more in between my weekly meetings with world leaders to discuss and deal with current global issues. What else should I do to get into HYPS, MIT, and other schools? Oh, and I also got a 2560 on my SAT and 52 on my ACT. Is that good enough? I’ll study hard and retake both again in two months if they aren’t.</p>
