Alright, I'm sure that both my teachers sent out their recommendations to Cornell, around the same time that my transcript got sent out. However, on the online account, it says I'm still missing both my teacher recs. I think I might have used the 2006/07 form of the teacher recs, and instead of
Undergraduate Admissions
Application Processing Center
East Hill Plaza
I just put "Admissions Office", but the address is right
And I did not write "Early Decision" on the envelope

Don't even worry! They're swamped right now. I bet nobody's stuff is updated. I'm sure everythign is fineeee. They'll forward everything to the Admissions office.

yea they dont have my transcript, teacher recs, or school report and i know they got them...not a good sign for how many people are applying but it should be there in hte next five days or so

geez....how many threads are people gonna start dealing with "stuff in".

Cornell said that if anything is missing after the middle of November, then they'll notify you, and you can turn it in with no penalty (since they're behind 2 weeks if you read the website). Read the self service page and stop worrying.

Misery does love company... but it would kinda suck if I had to get a teacher to do another rec for me - even worse if they didn't save what they wrote bout me.

If they have any common sense, they would save it or have copies of the letter, since there are other schools you'd have to apply to if you get deferred or rejected from Cornell.

My guidance counselor is responsible for over 100 students. I met with her and submitted everything as early as possible, to avoid the "rush". Now I have to make an appointment up to a week before to meet with her. So hopefully it will not come down to having to resubmit everything, because even though I could probably "cut the line" to have her get my stuff out (again) in a hurry, I would rather not have to do that.

Not that I need to post here, but im just going to state that I in the same boat; My high school sent recs and transcript a while ago and Cornell hasnt updated the Self Service system to reflect they recieved it.

Apparently, all of my stuffs in except one teacher's rec. Both of my teachers told me that they sent in recs in late september/early october. But for some reason, on the check status website, it says your application has been sent to admissions staff for review. Does that mean they received my second rec. and just forgot to update it to the website?

the only thing they say i sent was the common application on the first list of stuff with teacher recs and etc... they even said i didnt send my cornell supplement, which i submitted 1 min after the common application...... so im sure its their problem that our stuff are shown as "missing"...
but this AppID thing is really helping to inform us of what we have sent and what have yet to send, but just worries the hell out of everyone who applied...

heyy. Questions: I canceled my Oct SAT scores. So, it wasn't sent to cornell, but the status still says pending. So, i ordered my scores to be sent there, but it STILL says pending even though i have a receipt from my order and everythign and cornell hasn't received it. What should I do? I already called college board and they said it should be there in a week. and...it still isn't! gah. -__-

Well, I think I would feel a lot better if my application went out for review, because that must mean they have everything. The earlier they get it the better, so they won't have to rush through it! Be happy!! :)

So i canceled my october scores cause I didn't actually need another test, but I already registered. so I cancled my october scores, but I had listed cornell and 3 other schools to receive my score. So on my scores page, it says "pending" for all 4 schools. But I ordered for my scores to be sent to cornell again. I paid, yada yada, got a receipt and everything, but it still says pending twice now for cornell. it litereally says "pending, pending" -___- and i called them after a week, and they said it would be another week. and now it still isn't sent, it still says pending, and cornell says it hasn't received it. I hate how bad collegeboard's service is.

yep, and they cost so much too...
i register from canada and its like 80 bucks each time.... i dont see how a non-profit organization should charge 30 bucks for mailing to canada... plus i live like 1 hr away from us border...
