Stuff still missing?

honestly.and when you apply for their CSS profile, to send stuff in for financial aid costs money. its' like almost $20 per school to send it. the irony does not kill me. -___-

Wait, so when they have all your stuff it'll say "sent out for review" on the online applicant viewing thing?

ITS 2 WEEKS AFTER THE DEADLINE...and they still don't have my stuff??

chairman Z, that's what mine said, but the problem is they still haven't received my second teacher's recommendation (according to online status check website).

they havent received my transcript, school report or teacher recs...all of which were mailed together....should i call them? i know they said they would email me but still...im kind of freaking out

My college counselor called Cornell today because of all of the freaking out Cornell ED'ers. They said that they are veeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrryyyyyyy backed up and not to worry. They are apparantly not even close to processing all of the stuff they have receieved.

This is my last attempt.

Don't worry too much you guys...it's not like Cornell is going to throw your apps out because their system is backed up. They specifically said that they will notify you (probably by an email) if anything is missing after everything is processed. Though I understand it's a very stressful process, freaking out about this issue is pointless.

they finally have all of my stuff! i know 12+ other people applying cornell ed from my school and 3+ not from my school, and many have told me that cornell is missing stuff, particularly teacher recs.

good to know.... but after we know they have everything, we will be freaking out about getting admission.... lovely..

finally, they got my 2nd teacher's rec in. I can't wait till dec 14th or dec 15th (whichever one is right, hoping for 14th, because my university of michigan decision came out on nov.8th, although they announced that it would come out on 9th.)

its the 15th.

ALOT of my stuff are still missing. The whole school report and teachers rec bundle. sighs

Hmm I don't know what's happening but both of my teachers sent their recommendations around the same time. One of recommendation was received a couple of weeks ago, but the other recommendation is stilll missing. I am really worried now.

Give them a bit more time. Finally on Friday the transcript and counselor report was shown as received, but the two teacher recommendations are still not recorded as in.

I am guessing that they are prioritizing the application and supplement processing, to be sure that everyone is sent an ID, then they are digging out through the pile of other submissions.

I would take them at their word when they say that anyone who is missing something will be notified soon and given the time to correct the situation. No alert from them about a missing item means no worries.

Save the worrying for whether you will receive an acceptance.

ok instead of worrying about the missing stuff, why isn't anyone worried that there are so many apps causing delays...many applications=many rejections =(

We could also believe (with no evidence) that applications are no higher than last year, but the team handling the paperwork is woefully understaffed.

lol unlikely

i like rider's optimistic point of view... although i disagree

ugh they're still missing everything sent by my school >_<

i emailed my college counselor last night and she responded:

"I did call Cornell again and spoke to a real person. You (and two other applicants from *****) still show as incomplete in terms of our transcript, etc. But the woman said not to worry, it was probably there and just hadn't been entered in the computer. She reassured me that you would be read as ED and that if anything was missing once all the materials they had were entered, they would let you know and we could take care of it without any penalty to you. I'm going to call back next week."

so we are fine!
